Summary of events
The PSR brought legal practitioners, members of civil society, digital rights activists and other stakeholders together, to discuss the need to balance content moderation and the rights to free speech in Nigeria. The session reviewed the Protection From Internet Falsehoods, Manipulation and Other related matters Bill 2019, and the way forward following the Twitter ban.
