Nigeria has a thriving tech ecosystem, which employed almost 20,000 Nigerians in 2022, and accounted for over $2billion in investment between 2015 and 2022 (Disrupt Africa, 2022). Against this backdrop, the Nigerian tech startup ecosystem and the presidency embarked on an initiative to maximise the full potential of startups in the country and enable institutionalised support via co-created regulations.
